Camera movements

Image
To begin, Camera movements in filmmaking technique that is the blueprint for the change of frame or prespective through camera movement based on the director. The director is a person with a very importnt job, they oversees everything. Without a director the film wouldn't be as good.  Peter Jackson is a director who made himself accomplish the stuff he wanted by himself. He has a total of $6,536,703,723 in box office worldwide and has directed movies like King Kong (2005) and Action Adventure film, The lord of Rings :the two towers (2001), The lovely Bones (2009), and etc. James Cameron Avatar (2009) an action adventure, In the movie Titanic (1997) the director conforms a tracking shot where we follow a man holding the women on the front door. When we were refreshing our memory along with learning new ones, some of the shots were very familiar. The ones i remembered were hand held shot and tilt shot.

Camera movement is many film technique that changes frame or perspective through the movement of camera, when done correctly the camera man is able to make the audience feel a certain emotion. Camera Movement Videos Storyboard

This assignment was practice for our introduction movie so we know what to do when filming. Camera movement technique that changes frame or perspective through the movement of the camera. The lesson of this assignments to apply the camera techniques we learned. For my role in this assignment I thought of all the stories, while Y.S drew the ideas down and J.D did the researching shots. The end product was the our story board!!!!!We all collaborated for the pre planning of our introduction movie.

Camera work PowerPoint: Camera composition

Image
Camera Composition Centers on the way the elements of the scene are arranged in the frame. these shots help send a message to the audience. For an example of these shows are symmetry shot. Symmetry shot is a shot that uses three right and left squares in the rule of thirds rule. This rule helps center the object or character. This shot also gives a sense of balance.    Asymmetry shot helps with balance as well but by using three points. This shot makes people feel things due to movement .It conveys a sense of motion.    This assignment was really fun to do. we got to get up and move around in the school to take pictures. we can use this information when doing the movie assignment. Overall this was a good assignment and we learned a lot.

Camerawork PowerPoint: Camera framing

Image
Camera Framing centers around the placement and the position of a subject in a camera shot. These types of shots are the placement of the subjects relationship with camera. Single shot is a shot when there's only one character in the frame, These are mainly used to identify the main characters. Two shot are used to portray two characters in the frame. The picture that me and my teammates used were two officers that work here at the school to keep us safe were in the frame. This picture Makes the audience feel the power through the screen. This assignment was the funniest assignment to be done in this class. We learned a lot and now we can do the movie with lots of knowledge pertaining to camera work.

Camera work Powerpoint : Camera angles

Image
Camera Angles are meant to give purpose to shots. These angles help dictate how the audience show feel about a scene, while watching a film. Examples of these are low-angle and aerial shots. A low- angle shot is a shot that frames the subject from below their eye line. This shot helps with implying fear or a dramatic feeling. In this shot me and my teammates walked around during a class period to get these shots. A Dutch shot is a shot that makes the audience feel disoriented and makes the environment very tense. These shots are always used in horror movies to get that feeling. We took  these pics during school hours with the help of others. This assignment was very fun to do. I now have knowledge about camera angles and how they make the audience feel. We felt like we were movie directors. I would most definitely do this assignment again.

Camreawork PowerPoint: Shot sizes

Image
Shot sizes are there to let us now how much of the character or the setting of the scene will show in the frame. These types of shot sizes conforms to make a beautiful piece. Some example are extreme close-up shot, Medium shot, full shot, and establishing shot. Extreme close up shot is a common shot it always consists of a body part up close. The picture me and my teammates took, it was of a persons eye. The wide shot is a common shot as well, it shows the entire human body or an object. This picture consists of a whole persons body also to show the building that is in relation to the human. This assignment was very fun to do, to take the pictures for the camerawork to feel like we re directing a movie.I learned that different types of camera shot have different responsibilities. For an example we felt like we were big time movie directors in Hollywood. To summarize it was a very interesting assignment.
