  Mise en scene is the essence of filmmaking, its used in everything that results in the making of a movie or film etc. Its the placement of actors and scenery on a stage. Many people do it whether they know it or not. Mise en scene is important in films because it helps tell the story in a single image. Everything we see can be apart of Mise en scene. Mise en scene is a theater term for the process of deciding what to include in the scene and where it should go and how it should be placed. It shows the viewer how the scene should be played out from the inside. You can also think of mise en scene as a guide line to make sure you have everything to do a scene without Mise en scene there would be no movie. Mise en scene helps the character development as well as the development of the film.
