Camera Framing centers around the placement and the position of a subject in a camera shot. These types of shots are the placement of the subjects relationship with camera. Single shot is a shot when there's only one character in the frame, These are mainly used to identify the main characters. Two shot are used to portray two characters in the frame. The picture that me and my teammates used were two officers that work here at the school to keep us safe were in the frame. This picture Makes the audience feel the power through the screen. This assignment was the funniest assignment to be done in this class. We learned a lot and now we can do the movie with lots of knowledge pertaining to camera work.
Setting is the time and place a scene is taken in. These characteristics are very needed in movies and film because where the setting can sometimes give clue to what the story may be about. For example, if a movie is in the mid-west its mostly going to be about cowboys and fighting for the west. Without the setting the audience would be left confused on to what did we just watch. In this exercise me and my teammates defined the elements in Mise en scene. We used the internet to get the information to complete this assignment to know exactly where this movie was made. This assignment helped me understand the insignificance of the setting is to movies.
This assignment was practice for our introduction movie so we know what to do when filming. Camera movement technique that changes frame or perspective through the movement of the camera. The lesson of this assignments to apply the camera techniques we learned. For my role in this assignment I thought of all the stories, while Y.S drew the ideas down and J.D did the researching shots. The end product was the our story board!!!!!We all collaborated for the pre planning of our introduction movie.
