Introduction to storyboarding Shot sizes, Introduction to Camera Angles
As a class we learned the different types of shots a director uses and the types of camera angles. We had to create a story plan to display all the types of shots and camera angles. Directors use a combination of different types of the Shot sizes and camera angles to create an atmosphere in the scene. For an example, the close up shot with eye level can show the characters emotion in the film. Camera angles and Shot sizes both are very important in film, you can't have one without the other. They can change the intensity of a scene and many more.
I noticed that taking a picture of people how high or how low the camera it can change the way the whole picture looks. Directors often use this to get different reactions out of the audience and it connects the audience with the scene more.
